Pedro P. Llaneza M.D.

Dr. Llaneza is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He received his Medical Degree at Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in Santiago, Dominican Republic, graduated Magna Cum Laude, while a resident there.

Dr. Llaneza then completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Mt. Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology in Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. He has published multiple articles and research papers. He established permanent residency in Miami. He has been in private practice since 1987.

Dr. Llaneza is currently a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the AGA, ACG, ASGE and ACP. He has been Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. He held the position of Chief of Gastroenterology at Baptist Health Systems of South Florida. He is a member of the Endoscopy Committee/ Baptist Hospital.

Esperanza Bravo Llaneza - Administrator

Esperanza (Essie) Llaneza created and has been the administrator of Dr. Llaneza’s office for the practice of gastroenterology. She graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor in Liberal Studies with a concentration in business management. She continued to acquire a Certificate in Medical Practice Management from the University of Miami.  She attends conferences in practice management and is active in community service programs in Miami-Dade County.
